URLAR (pron.er-lar)is a Gaelic word that means”of the earth “.Located in the Gladstone sub-region of the Wairarapa,URLAR is the largest single organic vineyard ( 75 acres ) in the region producing award-winning Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc,Pinot Gris and Riesling wines. BioGro certified for over 15 years, URLAR Gladstone continues to bring an abundance of life back to the soil for you to discover the purity of flavour inherent of the land. URLAR Gladstone utilizes some biodynamic practices in the vineyard and winery.
